The same year
she began to show her pictures at societies for art and culture, companies,
public institutions and galleries.
Some sort of a story told with the picture is very important, so is of course
also colour and form. Her pictures are inspired by curiosity about what is going
on in the surrounding world at different levels. She often works for a long time
with her figures. The pictures may sometimes give a calm, meditating feeling to
the regarder, like being in the eye of a hurricane, for a quiet moment in the
centre, though close to the edge of chaos.
The world of fairy tales and legends goes together with history, old cultures and religions of mankind, the real world of today, and in addition to all this - new scientific discoveries.
Religions and philosophy have always had a great impact on our lives. A deep spiritual fundament, which she thinks always is there, could make harmony possible. But different interpretations conquer. The relation between ground and surface is interesting, whether concerning individual behaviour or human ideas on the global level. Nevertheless it is sad that the common ground is so hard to find.
Animals often occur in the pictures because of their beauty, powerfulness and influence on our feelings – sometimes they may even have a hybrid form. But they will always point at circumstances, concerning humanity as well.
By using
the theatre scenes as a background for the play of life, it is possible to give
a strong expression to the picture and opportunities for the viewer to make
their own personal interpretations.
Often scenes from different areas and periods can be found in the same picture.
Maybe the world is really created in that mixed quant physical way? In the
mimicry and body positions the figures show some sort of keys to how they relate
to themselves, each other and floating time.

In the beginning of 1985 she started to work hard with the aquarelle and gouache techniques and she loved the miniature form.
